Liverpool has many community based organisations and are often run voluntary by residents. Mossley Hill Athletic club in the south side of Liverpool is a community charter standard development club. They offer a wide range of sports and events and have a membership scheme to keep the club in keeping with the local cummunity needs and requirements.

The club can offer many different sports and activities and is a great way for children to gain self confidence, be part of a team, develop new skills,learn comradship and many more essential life learning skills. The club is situated in the penny lane cavern quarter of south liverpool and boasts new outdoor tennis courts and changing facilities. The club has a secure and cctv operated car park and can be hired out for functions, meetings and events.
