Steven Gerrard has committed his future to anfield after talks with Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson. This will be great news for the fans as Gerrard and Joe Cole are attacking minded players.

The inflated prices for a ticket this season, despite a global recession and the absence from the champion's league will have come as a bitter blow to the fans from Two of the most hated men in Liverpool but with the arrival of Cole and the commitment from Gerrard, the style of football could help ease the burden of the extra cash.
